Baby Eczema Help
Baby Eczema Help was setup to show people how I and my husband dealt with severe eczema in our daughter. Our daughter, now three, has had eczema since birth, although we didn't know it at the time. We first noticed a small red patch above one eye, which to be honest I thought was just a birthmark, but when we checked with the health visitor we were told it was in fact eczema. So that's how our journey began into trying to find out the best products and how best we could help our daughter.
Within a few months, the eczema had spread across her body. Ironically the patch on her eyelid disappeared but she still had patches of eczema around her face, predominantly around her cheeks.
For the next 2 years, we went on a merry-go-round of antibiotics, steroids, food allergy testing, homeopathic medicine and so on. Culminating in our daughters eczema being reduced dramatically to a point where if you saw her, you'd never know she'd been inflicted so badly by eczema.

Bad memories
I remember the days when we'd hit rock bottom and end up questioning ourselves, why we all were suffering so much? The toll of sleepless nights, the upsetting sight of inflamed and bleeding limbs just got too much and at times we thought this would never end.
We'd heard stories of how other children had taken years to outgrow eczema, which left us thinking, how many more years of this can we take?
Our daughters cousin had also suffered from eczema and it had taken 5 years for the eczema to be brought under some sort of control. This seemed to always be at the back of our minds, we were only part way through a long and painful journey.
Even going out for a meal was a nightmare. On several ocassions, our daughter would scratch so much, that we'd all get distressed and have to leave. I rememer one weekend stay at a hotel in the midlands, where because our daughters scratching was so bad and none of us got any sleep we cut our stay short and checked out at the crack of dawn a day early.
